About the event

Marketing and Communications is a professional unit responsible for communicating the University’s values ​​and messages in ways that target audiences – including prospective students, current students, academics, staff, alumni, donors and external influencers – so that they notice and understand, and what prompts them to action.

We are seeking a Content Marketing Officer who will be responsible for working with student and faculty marketing teams to review and develop marketing content according to editorial guidelines. You may also be expected to help support other faculty marketing work such as web and social media updates or writing new content for campaigns.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

review and create course marketing and curriculum content according to established editorial guidelines. ensure attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing course content for digital channels and publications, liaise with subject matter experts (SMEs) in faculties, Sydney Future Students and Marketing and Communications to ensure compliance, accuracy and approvals. work with student and faculty marketing teams to develop content for campaigns, including writing articles, updating websites, and developing social media assets.

The successful candidate will have:

excellent content writing, editing and proofreading skills to ensure a standard that meets editorial requirements and objectives, experience updating a website using Adobe Experience Manager (desirable but not critical) high level oral and written communication, interpersonal , negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills demonstrated ability to write high quality communications and to adapt writing style for different audiences.
