WWE legend Kurt Angle has made startling claims that Hulk Hogan has no feeling in his lower body after having nerves removed from his back. Angle made the horrific allegations on the latest episode of his podcast ‘The Kurt Angle Show’, saying Hogan had been using a cane for months.

“Hogan had his back surgery again. He had the nerves of his lower body cut. He can’t feel his lower body, so he has to use his cane to walk around,” Angle said.

“I thought he was using the cane because he had pain in his back. He has no pain, he has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything.

“So now he can’t feel his legs, so he has to walk with a cane. That’s pretty serious, man. I mean, I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and it ate him up.”

Angle said he spoke to Hogan (real name Terry Gene Bollea) at the 30th anniversary celebration show for RAW in Philadelphia on January 23rd. Hogan reportedly told Angle that back surgery left him “unable to feel his “lower body.

Angle continued to pay tribute to the 69-year-old Hogan and his legacy in professional wrestling. He said: “I mean, I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and it consumed him.

“I mean, if you’re going to kick off the show, the 30th anniversary of RAW, [it] must be Hulk Hogan. He is the name and face of the company. He’s the guy who revolutionized pro wrestling. I have so much respect for him.”

WWE fans were saddened by the news about Hulk Hogan

Hogan has yet to publicly address Angle’s claims. The 69-year-old had fans worried in 2020 when he posted photos of himself undergoing an MRI.

Hogan has had dozens of surgeries on his back, both during his WWE career and after retirement. Widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Hogan suffered a multitude of back, hip, spine and knee injuries.

In 2021, daughter Brooke revealed her father had undergone 25 surgeries in the past decade. She said: “We’ve counted how many operations he’s had in the last 10 years and I think we’re at 25. He’s had both shoulders checked and he’s had his whole bicep and his bursa last year and everything in his shoulder tied.

“It was a disaster. He got MRSA and it was like a big deal. So we had to go back and undo tons of physical therapy. Both of his knees were replaced multiple times, I think twice about both. He had his hips had. finished. He had his elbow kick.”

Hogan, who was named the greatest wrestler of all time in 2008, has previously spoken of his desire to rejoin the WWE. His last professional match was for WWE rival network TNA, something he previously said he struggled to accept.

According to reports, he tried to secure a match at Wrestlemania in 2019 before being given a cameo role instead. Hogan worked with a number of professional wrestling organizations until 2020 when he was banned by AEW.

The company’s boss Tony Khan said Hogan and ex-wife Linda were banned because of a controversial tweet from Linda about the protests and riots in America after the death of George Floyd. Fans sent their wishes to Hogan on social media.
