Nothing breeds confidence in the off-plan property market like firm construction timelines.

Completion dates can be the overarching factor in a prospective buyer’s decision to buy or not.

In the off-plan buying journey, most buyers have an idea of when they want their new property to be ready, and will base the timelines on their current living situation around that.

A number of projects on the Gold Coast are at the development application stage, and there are a number that have been approved but are awaiting two factors; market conditions change to become slightly more favorable based on their product mix, and construction costs to drop a little further before they announce they are on the market.

We’ve rounded up the top condo projects currently targeting a 2024 completion date.

Project: Orama
Location: Chevron Island
Developer: Aniko Group

Promionent developers Aniko have branched out from Hope Island, and are taking to the burgeoning Chevron Island for their latest development.

Orama will rise 21 levels at 12-16 Weemala Street, conveniently located just off Thomas Drive, the retail, food and cafe hub that dissects the island.

The site is also located on the sought-after eastern side of Chevron Island, making it just a short 950 meter walk across the bridge to the heart of Surfers Paradise.

102 apartments will be built within the tower, which Aniko says will be completed by late 2024.

Six residences will take up space across each floor, with the lower levels featuring two-bed, two-bath configurations, while the upper levels will feature three-bedroom lofts and two penthouses.

Plus Architecture designed the tower, which will feature an expansive rooftop recreation area overlooking Surfers Paradise.

The entire 21st level will house a lap pool and spa with 180-degree ocean views, a gym with a sauna and a yoga space, and a business lounge with private offices, cubicles and a boardroom.
